Lookout Mountain Chattanooga West KOA is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, with historic Lookout Mountain to the east and downtown Chattanooga only 15 minutes away. We offer 37 acres of native Appalachian forest with beautiful mountain views. Most of our sites are shaded under a canopy of beautiful native hardwoods and evergreens.

We also offer an exciting variety of activities (in-season weekends) and first class amenities with outstanding attractions only minutes away. We are the closest KOA to Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, and downtown Chattanooga. Hike your way through 15 acres of forest and natural landscape. Cool down in our 56,000-gallon free form pool and dry off under the southern sun on our large deck. Pan for gemstones at our NEW gemstone panning sluice. We offer 1 hour horseback trail rides on Friday's and Saturday's (in season) that lead you throughout our beautiful wooded forest. Try out the newest game at our park--Outdoor Bowling! Play a few "holes" on our 4-hole Frisbee/Disc golf course. Your pet will love our 1,200 square foot off-leash pet playground and obstacle course. Be the first one to score 1000 points on our Mini-Marshmallow Shooter "Shootin' Gallery". Stay in one of our heated/air conditioned rustic cabins or cottages, or camp under the canopy of the forest while enjoying a nice campfire.

From downtown Chattanooga, take I-24 West, travel into Georgia and take the ramp to I-59 South toward Birmingham. Take Exit 17 Slygo Road. Turn left 100 feet past the gas station. Follow the KOA signs to the campground. KOA is 2.6 miles from freeway.
