Crossville / I-40 KOA

Open April 1 - November 30

You'll Say "finally I found a place for me and my family to make "keeper camping memories!"

The Crossville Tennessee KOA offers you much more than just a place to stopover and park your RV, trailer, 5th Wheel or tent. For non RV'rs we also have log cabin cottages and a 4-unit upscale suite, log lodge accommodations. Crossville KOA is located just off of I-40 between two exits so it's super easy off and on with no back tracking to head either way whether going to or from Nashville 100-miles away, or Knoxville some 60-miles away. Chattanooga is approximately 75 miles south off the Cumberland, also guests consider Crossville not only the Golfing Capital of Tennessee with 11 quality courses, but also in that magic triangle that blends woods and waters of numerous national and state parks with a quality vacation environment atop one of the coolest places some 2000 feet above sea-level on the Cumberland Plateau.

Nearby towns are Cookeville, Sweetwater with the largest underground cavern lake in the world, Monterey, Muddy Pond community of Mennonites and all their fine crafts and homemade pies and jams, and many other unique and historical towns and burgs. Also in Crossville on 2500-acres is an incredible equestrian campground. For RV'rs with horses, you can board and ride your horses on many miles of trails there and on the adjacent Catoosa National Forest Trails that offer hundreds of miles of fantastic scenery.

Monthly at Crossville KOA, you can sign up for a one or two day all inclusive group fly fishing class, or classes that are custom scheduled for you, your family or your group in the entire realm of this lifestyle sport. A Workamper dog trainer is on premises, monthly flea markets for guests participation on premises, pancake & waffle breakfasts, ice cream socials and a large brand-new swimming pool to open beginning in June 2010. A hiking trail runs around the 25-acre property, and we are very pet friendly.

There is a petting center for the kids and the kid in all of us. Our knotty pine store and recreation hall with giant screen TV and movie system can be enjoyed, especially during any possible inclement weather. Our store is chock-full of local crafts, jams and jellies, collectibles, along with fishing items for two stocked ponds and everything a well stocked KOA store offers.

Nearby the popular and professional Cumberland Playhouse offers first rate shows and everywhere there are live music venues,, auctions, and country fairs to enjoy. Restaurants are prolific throughout the Crossville area and the longest (over 400-miles) summer flea market runs through Crossville on US 127 during the first week in August. Play badminton or volleyball under the giant oaks, basketball and have fun in the recreation center with table tennis, pool and more.

Just some of the amenities and attractions include: Free WiFi, cable TV, our big group fire pit and plank benches for two folks or 40 where camp stories and s'more memories are made. Monthly children's catch and release fishing tournaments with great prizes, a weekly pool exercise class, weekly special fly or jigfishing casting lessons for kids as well as scheduled specialty crafts displays by local crafts people.
